Individual & Systems Advocacy

Advocating for Your Rights

At Umpqua Valley disAbilities Network (UVdN), advocacy is at the heart of what we do. We provide both individual advocacy to support personal needs and systems advocacy to promote broader change in the community. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities and that their rights are protected.

Personalized Advocacy Support

We assist individuals by developing action plans and offering training on self-advocacy and responsibility. Whether it’s requesting accommodations for accessibility or addressing discrimination, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Community-Wide Advocacy Efforts

Our systems advocacy works to influence policies and practices that ensure equal access to housing, employment, and public services. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone can participate fully in community life.
